During the entire period from 1953 to 1977, the people in charge of U.S. foreign policy were all on the Rockefeller payroll. History textbooks never mention or discuss [any influence] on U.S. policy. Rather, they present our governmental policies as rational humanitarian responses to trying situations, and they do not include the government's own explanation of its actions.
